Chic Mamas Do Care is a non-profit organization established by ‘Mamas’ who would like to see a better future for the children of South Africa...

They have created a chic, fun and ethical way of fundraising to support educational projects in underprivileged areas. Once a month, they organize Exclusive Fashion Exchange Parties where they sell no-longer-wanted garments from boutique to designer labels, second hand and brand new, and also swap these items in a party atmosphere. This is their Swap4Charity.

They also organize Charity Fashion Sales every month at the Tokai Library, were all up-market items sell for bargain prices.

They just opened their very first permanent Charity Shop at 29 Buckingham Road, Plumstead at the Roundabout. Their aim is also to have a positive impact on our environment by reducing, reusing and recycling unwanted goods.

If you have any items – in good conditions – to donate, please contact Abigel on 083-7159308, or simply arrange for them to be collected when we come for your recycling and we will drop them off.
